It never fatigues the stomach and bowels like the iodide of potassium and the iodide of iron, and is administered with the great est efficacy to young children subject to humors or obstruction of the glands. Dr Cazenave, of Saint Louis Hospital, Paris, recommends it particularly in cutaneous diseases, conjointly with the pills which bear his name.
