Times Office, Saturday Evening. Thebe was an exceedingly good attendance at Mr Tautier Janisch’s auction sale of second-hand books, furniture, &c at the mart on Saturday, and the prices obtained were of a very satisfactory nature., Of the books, 13 volumes of the Art Journal brought from 15s to 17s 6d per volumeBohn’s Standard and Classical Library from 3s to 4s 6d per volume; Shakspeare, in 15 volumes. 3s 6d per voulme; tho Waverley Novels, iu 48 volumse, 2s 6d per volume. The furniture and sundries sold almost equally well. This sale has been tho best that has taken place in Napier for several mouths past.
