Monday Evening. The weather very wet and squally. There has been heavy rain iu the north. The revenue for Quarter ending- 31»t March, shows an increase on the quarter of 564,000, and for the year £170,000. The report of Engineer of Water-works announces a permanent leak in the reservoir, and holds out probable necessity of- making other provisions for the-storage of water. Business quiet, pending the delivery of the mail. Sales of wheat; Ss; no demand. Arrived,—African Maid, from Mauritius; bad passage, cargo supposed seriously damaged, 900 bags thrown Overboard.
