{Sydney Morning Herald). Friday, 12th. Telegrams fronj tjjg several ports along the coast report very boisterous weather. A heavy gale is now blowing here, and shipping disasters are feared. Another meeting of the Melbourne Cricket Club was held to-day when, an amendment was carried by a majority of one condemning the engagement of any professionals in the present state of the club finances.
