Wo have been fortunate in securing the services of Capt. Shuttle worth, of whom our correspondents speak in high terms. Ho superintended the building of the steamer during the three months prior to her sailing, and hia engagement’ extends for a year after her arrival here. In accordance with your wishes, the calls have been made as easy ns possible, but as the Drafts for the balance of the cost of the steamer and supplies have to be met, it will be necessary to call up the capital as early as possible. A proposal has been received from the New Zealand S.N. Co., to take over the Ahuriri , wheu she arrives, and pay for in New Zealand Go’s shares. We submit this proposal for your consideration and decision. We also lay before you the statement of Receipts and Expenditure, and the Balance Sheet for the year ending 15th July.
