In reference to our correspondent B. B. D’s. letter upon the subject of education, which appeared in our last week’s issue, we regret to be obliged to say that the Provincial Government have not the most remote intention of taking any steps in the direction indicated by B. B. B. We believe that a sum of .£SO a year has been put upon the Estimates for the Inspector of Diseased Cattle, a purely imaginary occupation, while the sum of £25 is placed on those Estimates for the Inspection of Schools or for Educational purposes. We will, however, shortly allude to this subject at greater length.
