HATUMA BRIDE WEARS CREAM EMBOSSED CLOQUE
VALLANCE— RICE Tlie Presbyterian Cliurcb at Hatuma was the scene of a pretty and quiet wedding. yesterday afternoon, wliea Christina Maisie, ninth daugkter of Mrs. B. Rice and the late Mr. B. Rice, of Hatuma, was married to Clarence Vallance, of Cambridge. The bride, who entered the church with her mother, was wearing a becomnig gown of cream embossed eloque tashioned 011 princess lines, the skirt slightly trained, and the sleeves long and tight-fitting. Her net veil (lent by a relative), arranged with a circlet of orange blossoms, fell in soft folds, and she earried an exquisite bouquet of, rosebuds and white sweetpeas. The only bridesmaid was Miss Phyllis Rice, sister of the bride, who wore a fashionably-cut gown of Margaret Rose crepe. She wore a matching hat, and earried a bouquet of polyanthu's roses, carnations and- ferns. Mr. Harold Rice, brother of the bride, was best man. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. R. Hutchson, and Miss E. Allan played the wedding music. Following the ceremony, Mrs. Rice entertained relatives and close friends at a jolly afternoon tea, wliich was held in the Hatuma Hall. Appropriate toasts were honoured, and the Rev. Mr 1 Hutehison wished the young couple everv happiness. When Mr. nnd Mrs. Vallance left by car for tlieir frtire home in Cambridge, the bride travened in a saxe bluo linen suit and a smart white liat,. with neessories to tone.
