Misses Edan and Jean Burling, Masterton, are on an extended visit to Ormondville, where they are the guests of Mr and Mrs W. Burling. Mrs O'Neill, and Miss Noreen O'Neill, who have been on a visit to Ormondville as the guests of Constable and Mrs Ryan left recently for Murchison. Mr and Mrs Cooper, Wellington, are visiting Ormondville, being the guests of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs Fred Carnie. Mr and Mrs Horace Baines, and Master Lowther Baines, of Te Uri, Ormondville, have left by car on an extended visit to relatives in the Bay of Plenty. Mr B. Brodrick, of the West Coast, is- spending a holiday in Ormondville with his relatives, Mr and Mrs J. R. Ryan. Mr and Mrs A. M. White, Racecourse road, Waipukurau, are holidaying in the Auckland district. Mrs J. Sim, of Auckland, is visiting Mr and Mrs D. Sim, Hatuma. Mr and Mrs Goodwin and family, of Khandallah, are the guests of Mrs Goodwin's parents, Mr and Mrs A. Riddell, Mt. Herbert, Waipukurau. Mr and Mrs J. A. Chambers and Miss Isobel Chambers, Waipukurau, left on Wednesday ou a motor tour through the Taupo and Poverty Boy districts. Miss Audrey Smith, Wellington, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Smith, Wairoa. Mr. and Mrs. A. Ryman, of the Wanganui district, are visiting Wairon. Mt. B. Fincb, of the Canterbury Training College, is visiting his parents, the Rey. and Mrs. Finch, Wairoa. Dr. M. G. L. Hallwright, medical superintendent of the Wairoa Hospital, is making good progress after undergoing an operatiorf in the institution.
Mr. W. Drysdale, Waipukurau, is visiting the Wairoa district. Mr. R. Pilson and family, of Napier, were tlio guests of Miss Pilson, Wairoa, for the Christmas holidays Miss Jean Fowler, formerly of the staff of the Waipukurau District Hospital, Ms Mt Masterton, where she has accepted a position with the Wairarapa Hospital Board. Miss Fowler is a daughter of Mr and Mrs G. E. Fowler, Waipukurau. Mr and Mrs J. Richmond, Pahiatua, have been re-visiting Waipukurau, where Mr Richmond, until recently, was on the staff of the Bank of New South Wales. Mr T. Willis, or Wellington, and formerly of Waipukurau, was a visitor. to Waipukurau during the Christmas holiday*. S
