AUCKLAND, This Day. The Auckland Racing Club continued its summer meeting at Ellerslie to-day. The weather is beautifully fine. There is another large attendance. The course is good. Results: — FERGUSSON PLATE. Of £350; one mile. 1 . HAEREPO 7.8 (C. G. Goulsbro) I 4 Jack Tar 8.1 2 ■ 2 Land Girl 8.0 3 Also started: Nightdress 9.0, Wagner 8.12, Cappy 8.3, Gold Vaals 8.3, Hopalong 7.6, Ohmaha 7.0, British Banner 7.0, Quilp 7.0, Bronze Wings 7.0. Won by a length; two lengths between second and third. Ohmaha fell. Time, 1.38. KING'S PLATE. Of £550; one mile. 1 COURTCRAFT 8.2i (P. AtkinS) 1 3 Trench Fight 9.0 (Jennings) .. 2 4 Oratory 8.11 (Morris) ........ 3 Also started: Royal Chief 8.2 (L. J. Ellis). A great finish. Won by three-quarters of a length. Oratory led practically throughout, being caught near the post. Time, 1.36 1-5. PONSONBY HURDLES.
