WINGATUI TRACK NOTES

DUNEDIN, Tbis Day. Owing to exceptionally beavy train traffic on tbe cnain lines, none of tbe visiting horses engaged at next week 's meeting at Wangatui bave arrived, exeepting Hogan and Pankburst's tcfcius. Tbe remainder of tbe visitors are expected to-day. A fresb strip of tbe course propor was available for fast work tbis morning, but was not used, and only two horses out of a bundred wero sent against tbe watcb. Gipsy Fair ran four furlongs along tbe' back in 50 2-5 secs, and Spanish Lad did tbree in 40 secs. All tbe others were let off witb half to three-quarter pace work. Final gallops are being fixed for to-morrow.
