Seven Natives Killed (Received 24. 2.0 p.m.) JOHANNESBURG, Dec. 23. Eighty natives were travelling down a shaft on the Rendfontein estates in the top compartment of a cage, and when 4000 feet down a rock weigbing balf a ton was dislodged from the wall of the shaft and fell 1000 feet on to tbe room of the cage denting tbe steel roof a foot deep. Seven natives had tbeir skulls fraetured and two others were injured.
