New Plymouth Express Delayed

WELLINGTON Tbis Day. A collision between a beavy sbunt-ing-engine and a locomotive which was backing on to the 10.15 a.m. New Plymouth express resulted in tbe holdup of traffic at the Wellington railway station and the express was delayed till 11.10. The engines were locked together and a good deal of diffieulty was found in separating them. The tender of the shunting engine was derailed. Tbere was no serious damage to eitber of the engines or tbe track.
