Puketitiri Meeting The usual monthly meeting of the Puketitiri W. I. was held in the hall, a fair number attending. The usual Christmas market stall was well patron- . i«ed. The last Saturday in January was decided upon as the day for the annual pienic. There was a splendid show of flowers in the best bloom competition. Mrs N. Pedersen was first, with a beautiful red lily, Mrs A. Carswell and Mrs Ta-ner-were second equal, with an Iceland poppy and an antirrhinum and Mrs Kauter and Mrs Skinner third equa.t with a delphinium and a gaillardia. Mrs Carswell snr. was first in the quebn cake competition, and Mrs Boese eeeond. The competition for the layette wa3 won by Mrs Scobie, of Hastings. An enjoyable meeting closed with the singing of the National Anthem. >
