More Than £4000 a Year LONDON, Nov. 26. Henry Cotton, tho British Open golf champion, has received an appointment which will probably make him the bestpaid golf professional in the world. Early in the New Year he will become consultant to Messrs. A. G. Spalding and Brothers, the sports goods manufacturers. His salary will be about £2,000 a year. This appointment will not interfere with his duties as professional at the Ashridge Golf Club, nor will it make any difference to his playing in tournamerits. Cotton, when he starts his riew job, will have an income of betAveen £4,000 and £5,000 a year. Bobby Jones holds a similar post with the American branch of the comP""V
