TERUEL FALLS, BUT LOYALISTS SUFFER HEAVILY
(Eeceived 22, 12.50 p.m.) BAECELONA, Dec. 21. It is officially announced that Teruel has fallen. Nevertheless, a .broadcast from San Sebastian declares that tha rebels captured an important series o£ heights and a vital highway, causing 60 per cent. of casualties in the loyalists ranks in the latter's five offensives, in which 70,000 men were engaged. The loyalists simultaneously attaeked from the four sides of Teruel, capturing houses, surrounding the Civii. Guard barracks and smashing the dofences proteeting the Eiver Turia and the Tailway and also penetrating the city from the Seguno-Teruel Toad.
