FURTHER FALSE ALARM
Hastings Brigade Called Out The series of intermittent false alarms which have trouhlqd the Hastings Fire Brigade for the past few months, was added to shortly after 8.30 o 'clock last evening, when a voice over the telephone told the brigade that a lorry in the shed of J. Mills Ltd., carriers, at 313 Queen street W., was on fire. The information was added that fhere were five lorries in the shed and that the flames were near benzine tanks. The brigade turned out emartly, but upon arrival at the scene, all that was discovered were the five lorries in the shed, with no sign of a fire.
