Recess Until Next March GREETINGS EXCHANGED

WELLINGTON, This Day. When the House of Representatives met this morning the Prniie Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, gave notiee that when the session resumed after the recess he would move for the Tatifieation of a large number of conventions passed. by the League of Nations at Geneva, and dating from 1919 onwards. # Mr Savage then formallv moved the adjournment of the House until 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1. He indicated that the main business after the recess would be consideration of the Education Bill and perhaps one or two Bills concerning national health-insurance and superannuation. He thanked the Leader of the Oppositiou and members cf his party for their assistance during the session and expressed appreciation of the Lelp given by the Speaker, the Hon. W. E. Barnard, the Chairman of Oommittees, Mr E. J. Howard, officers and messengers of the House, the Press and others, and extended to all thq compliinents of the season and .tho heartiest good wishes. The Leader of the Opposition, the Hon. Adam Hamilton, reciprocated the remarks by the Prime Minister and wished all the compliments of the season after a strenuous session. The Minister of Education, the Hon. Peter Fraser, also extended good wishes to all, including the broadeosting service. The usual infcrmal scenes maTked the conclusion of the sitting, the House eventually rising at 12.50.
