FINAL MEETING THIS YEAR OF SPILT INK CLUB

The final meeting for this year of the Hastings branch of the Spilt Ink Club was held last week. The se-retary, Mr G. 3T. Burnside, had unfortunately found it necessary to resign owing to pressure of private work. As there were insufiieient members present to facilitate the election of a new secretary, the president, Mrs D. Drummond, took over the position pro tem. Such members as were present read stories and paragraphs, and after refreshments had ueen enjoyed the meeting closed with mutual good wishes fpr the New Year. Members were also reminded that no meetings would be held until March 3. 1
