Meeting at Waipukurau

WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. Both the juvenile and adult lodges of the Foresters' Ord^r met in the' Masonic Hall, Waipukurau, last evening, Bro. J. Thomson, C.R.}, presiding over the juvenile lodge, Court Lindsa.v. One candidate was .initiated into the Order by the Chief Ranger, assisted by lodge officers, and one new member was proposed. Bro. J. Cochrane, P.C.R., presided over the meeting of Court Ruahine. One candidate . was initiated, into the Order. It was decided to co-operate wiih Court Sherwood (Past Chief Rangers' Lodge) in the holding of a Christmas party for members of Court Lindsay, t0 be held on Thursday next, Decem--ber 9. The secretary, Bro. J. H. llopkinson, Sister G. Major and Sister E. V. Paget were elected a sub-commktee to make arrangements for the function. The nominations for officers to hold office for the next term were as follows: — O.R., Sister E. V. , Paget; S.C.R., Bro. W. R. Hopkinson; treasurer, Bro. N. W. Taylor; secretary; Bro. J. H. Hopkinson; S.W., Bro. G. Price J.R., Sister D. Thomson and Bro. R. Healy •' S.B., Sister D. Thomson and Bro. R. Healy; J.B., Bros. Smith, F. Price, R. McVicar and ' I. Logan ; M.C., Bro. J. H. Paget ; 'delegates to district, Bros. N. W. Taylor and, J. Cochrane. The election and installation of officers will take place at the next meeting of the Court to be held on December 16.
