Alleged Threat to Hongkong (Received 3, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 2. A message from Hongkong says that th® Japanese Consul-General denies having warned Hongkong that it inight he involved in tlie dispute between Ohina and Japan if it did not suppress activliaes hy the leaders of the Chinese Government. "I was definitely misquoted," said the Consul-General "My protest regarded threatening letters from secret societies addressed to concerns dealing with Japanese compatties. I merely drew the attention of the Hongkong Government to the fact that. unless these were stopped, Anglo-Japanese feeling might be prejudiced.,,
