Te Awa Swimming Club Cool, with a threat of liglit . rain, last evening was not ideal for ' the' opening caruival of the Te Awa Swimming Ulub's season in Napier. -Tlie attendance left much to be 'desired, but the swimmers were sufficiently keen fo turn out in fair numbers. Credit is due to the officials for the fact that the interest -was- never allowed to lag, and the well-varied- programme was conducted with commendahle efficiency. ' .
