Annual Meeting Held

OTANE, Last Night. At the annual meeting of the Otane branch of the Mothers' Union there was a very good attendance. The church servicq was conducted by the Eev; E. T. Hall, who later presided over the meeting when members adjourned to the Sunday school room. «. The report and balance-sheet were read' and adopted. Interest in the meetings had been well maintained, and the attendance very satisfactory. During the year six new members had been admitted and three had left. The following officers were elected: — President, Mrs Hall; seeretary, Mrs Mills; committee, Mesdames J. Tod, A. Clark, Thomas, Harbottle and Voyce. Afternoon tea was served by the host'esses, M.esdames Lange, Thomas and Voyce, and a soeial hour was spent. A competition held wa- won by Mrs A. Clark.
