The work shown, by Miss Matheson, Miss Adkins/ and Mr Moore during this we'ek at the shop that was recejitly Donkin's Grocery, Havelock North, is of more than ordinary interest in view of the fact that the things are all made loeally. Tne pottery is fired, thrown on the potter 's wheel, and the eluy dug up and prepared in Havelock North. The leather articles are made here, and stamped with gold leaf, in designs of fantails, kowhai, and manuka, the brass tools for which were engraved Iocally.
