YOUTHS HOLD-UP TRAIN

Two youths attired in l6-gallon hats, ckaps and. boots boarded the Southern Pacific passenger train, elieiting smiles from fellow-travellers, who regarded them obviously as tenderfoot cowboys, blit their amusement turned to consternation when the masqueraders herded the train crew and passengers together at the point of a gun. The robbers, later disclgsed to be tyros, nervoiisly skot dead a trainman wlien he made a false move, wkereupon tke passengers leaped on the yontks and' so severely thrashcd them that bofch uro likely to dio.
