RADIO CONVENTION
Sydney Gathering Planned In keeping witk tke brilliant and sensational celebrations, commemorating tke 150tk Foundation of Australia, whick will be keld , in Sydney from January to. April next, tke Australian Institution of Radio Eligineers plans a world radio convention, witk tke Marckesa Marconi as guest of konour. Mr David Sarnoff, president of the National Broadcasting Corporation and Radio Corporation of America, will also be one of tke guests. Britain will be represunted by Sir Noel Ashbridge, ekief engineer of tke Britisk Broadcasting Corporation, wko is arranging to proeeed on to Sydney after he attends a radio conference in Cairo in February, Of vital interest to all conneeted witk broadcasting and electronic applications, tkis convention promises to be an outstanding event in tke history of Australian and world radio. Tke convention eommenees on April 4, and cOncludes on April 14. All overseas radio eompanies are being invited to send one or more delegates.
