WHANGAREI, This Day. Dobbie's Subdi Ision, where Government houses are being erected, has becotne a favourite exercising-gl-ound for a gang of juvenile hooligans. Roofing tiles and windows have been smashed, sand scattered to the winds and bricks removed from neatly-piled stacks. The damage done has compelled Mr* Alf Walker, the contractor, *to publish a warning that action may be taken against trespassers who have not received written authority to inSpect the houses. Sevefal of the twelve houses being erected have reached an advanced stage, but none will be ready for tenancy until after Christmas.
