Launch!s Long Overland Journey B0UND FOR TAUPO

AUCKLAND, This Day. A long overland journey was eommenced yesterday morning at five o'elock, when the reeently-built motorcruiser Lamorna started on the first stages of her transportation to Lake Taupo. She will there be used by the owner, Mr J. Blundell, of Hawke 's Bay, for trout-fishing. The vessel, which weighs seven tons, was lif ted on to a large trsUer on Wednesday. It was found to be too large to pass under the many overhead bridges on the main highway, and many deviations will have to be made. The route planned will lead through Ohinewai, Te Hoe, Tahuna, Waitoa and Matamata to Rotorua, which was reached early yesterday afternoon. Approximately 200 miles will have been covered when the vessel finally reaches her destipation. 1 The Lamorna,' built by Mr C. Wild, is 40ft. in length, and was launched at Stanley Bay on November 15. She has two comfortable cabins, as well as a large cockpit for trolling and fishing. She is equipped with two motors, each of 70 hc-rse-pover.
