MR. & MRS. BAIRD ENTERTAIN SCOTS SOCIETY MEMBERS
Tho members of the Hastings and District Scots Society were pleasantlv entertained on Saturday afternoon at a garden party given by Mr and Mrs H. W. C. Baird, at their home, "Rossdhu, ' ' Hastings. Yarious games and competitions were enjoyed by many of the guests, while others preferred to wand.er round and admiie the beautiful garden. A delicious afternoon tea was enjoyed by everyone. Chief P. J. Priest, on behalf of al! present thanked Mr and Mrs Baird for their hospitality and for the very pleasant afternoon..
