Fublic Service Exams. The annual examinations of the Education. Department were commenced at the Waipawa District High School yesterday morning, the Rev. E. W. Robertson acting as supervisor. The candidates ar-e drawn from Waipawa, Waipukurau and To Aute, making up the foilowing spctions: — Training Collogo Entrance 14, Intermediate 11. The examination will extend over a period of two weeks. Yankee Tournament. I'orty-f our players participated in the Yankee tournament organised by the' Waipawa Tennis Club over the week-end and the function proved most successful. The winners wero Miss B. Limbrick and Mr Mundell (Otane).
