Brewer Buttons Challenge Two matches for the Brewer Buttona were played on the Waipawa bowling green over the week-end. In the flrst Noell and Chisholm were the challengers ahd they gave the holders, Mclntosh and McKay, a close run, the latter scoring two on the fourteenth head and winning ,by 14 ,to 13. There was some big scoring in the second game in which Loughnan and Critchley were the challengers. Early in the play the latter registered a flve, and the holders responded by chalking up a six which brought the score to nine-all. The ' challengers then drew away, and, in spite of a four scored by -the holders, won by 19 to 14.
