Mahora Club Meeting The weekly meeting 0f the committee of the Mahora Swimming Club was held last evening, Mr. J. C. Taylor presiding.- Mr. E. G. Anderson -was elected an additional member to the committee. The following pi'ogramme was drawn up for the club carnival to be held on Thursday : Learners width (under 12), schoolchildren's 25 yards; junior boys ?5 yards, junior girls 25 yards; intermediate boys 50 -yards, inter'mediate girls and Jadies 25 yards, senior men 50 yards, schools relay, mixed breaststroke . 25 • yards, teams riice, novelty fancy dress, junior and senior diving. It was agreed that handicap points for trophy orders will count from this week's carnival.An endeavour is to be made to obtain the services of Mr. B. • Wright at the club carnivals to lead the junior divers and give an exhibition of each clive. ' The committee • felt that this would be an excellent means of teaching the young members of tlie club the proper way • to execute the various dives. The matter was left in thehands of the chairman to see Mir. Wright.
