Eeports in the Press of projected conversations in which the British Government would participate in several capitals in the near fiuture are mere conjecturS. The only such conversations at present in contemplation are those in which Lord Halifax will be engaged during his visit to Germany. There is no authority for the statement that Lord Halifax will proceed to Eome to meet Signor Mussolini after his vfsfE to Berlin.
