(Received 15,11.50 a.m.) BERLIN, Nov. 14. The Official News Agency in a statement denies all the British forecasts about the subjects for discussion between Herr Hitler and Viscount Halifax and says that there .will be no weakening of the Rome-Berlin axis on or of the Anti-Comintern Pact, while Germany has notliing to add to the colonial demands she has made through the Fuluw. The principal British Press forecast, which suggested that Herr Hitler was prepared not to press his colonial demands for 10 years in return for a free hand in Central Europe, is denied. The News Agency adds; "If the visit occurs in sucli an atmosphere the questi.on arises whether it would not he better if it were postponed." A training scliool has been opened near Nuremberg and others are being established throughout Germany to prepaxe Nazi youths for service in Germany's former col,onies. Plans were announeed at a, mass meeting at Nuremberg for inaugurating a German colonial funds canipaign to make Germans colonially conscious. The Times Berlin eorrespondent says the auuouncement of Lord Halifax's visit could not have been better received. Germany has a high respect for his qualities as a statesman who is not too deeply engrossed in petty politics. The German newspapers have frequently praised his clear-sighted _ and unprejudiced approach to international politics and have repeatedly named him one "with whom Germany could talk. " The Official News Agency s'tates that. the basie principle of German foreign poli.cy is to seize any opporbunitv to exchange ideas with any Power with a view to the maintenance of peace. The Daily Mail's Berlin cor'respondent believes that Herr Hitler and Lbrd Halifax will diseuss colonies, the Far East war, the Anti-Comintern Pact, and Spain,
