Coronation Miniature Rifle Club's Great Success

NORSEWOOD, Last Night; The Coronation Miniature Rifle Club 'b ball, held in the Norsewood Town Hall, was a pronounced success. Patfons were present in large numbers from near and fa'r. Being their initial ball, members had gone to considerable trouble to mako it a succeSs. The decorative scheme, Of purple and gold streamers, was strikingly eflective. Te Tau's orchestra rendered delightful music, and a much appreciated extra was contributedl by Miss Thompson. Considerable intereat was exhibited in a Monte Carlo waltz and a spot waltz. [?he former was wou by Miss M. Barclay and A. Walker apd ihe lattCr liy My Carr and partner. A streamer and cdnfetti dance was a popularwumber. After the serving of a very dainty eupper, Mr E. O. Dunn, club captain, Intimated that the prCsentation of the varionp trophies won during the season would b® made by Mrs J. Legarth, wife of the president of the club, The results of the championship aggrate, A and B grades, were as follow: Championship cup, presented by Mr J. Legarth, won outright by Mr H.- Anderspn, late of Norsewood; A grade challonge cup4 pi-eaented by Mr E. O. Dunn, won by Mr H. Anderson. In the absenco of Mr Anderson, Mrs B. Adamson.accopted the cups on his behalf. B grade challengo cup presented by Mrs Ireno Studd, of Ormondville, won by Mr 0. Pedorsen. Trophy shoots: A grade, G. Stmdd, J' Legarth (3), E. 0. Dunn (2), H. Anderson (2); B grade, C. Barker, M, Pedersen. S. Nikolaison (2), C. Pedersen, Mna E. 0. Dunn. Mr X Legarth, president, thanked patrons foy the splendid patronage accorded the balJ.
