Labour Gains The outcome of the muuieipal elections in the London boroughs is tliat the Labour Party has again improved its xosition in London, where for the next three years it will coutrol 17 out of 28 metropolitan boroughs. But it has lost seats in the country. Eevtirr-s " Were the heaviest in th6 North of England. Forty-nine Fascisfcs contested seats in the country and ten in London. All were defeated.
