Agreement Between Power Board and Council ^ fAn incdpient dispute between the Hawke's Bay Electric Power Board and the Napier Borough Council in regard to the agreement for the supply of bulk power to Napier ended at tlie council meeting last evening. In addition to a reduction granted on the previous ngreement, which had been agreed to by tho board and accepted by the council, tho council asked at the last board meeting for the benefit of any reduction of interest payable by the board on loans domiciled overseas, and in regard to which a test case was then in progress. The board refused to grant the extra concessiony but it was reported at the council meeting last evening that the case had been lost and that the position did not) apply. The agree ment was accordingly aoceptcd.
