HERETAUNGA MEETING
Mr H. B. Poppelwell presided over a full meeting of the committee of tho Heretaunga Swimming Club last evening. The following programme was sub-mit-ted by the programme committee for the cpening night on Friday, November 19: — Junior boys 25 yards, junior giils1' 25 yards, intermediate girls' . and ladies' 50 yards, intermediate boya' 50 yards, open race 50 yards, open diving, B grade diving^ teams race. It was unanimously agreed to make the opening night a free night for all, aud Mr G. A. Maddison, the club's patron, is to be asked to officially open the season. A sub-committee 's report regarding the fitting up of the standard for the low board was dealt with, and it was agreed that this be installed immediately. Club tickets are now available from executive members, and members are asked to renew their tickets as early as possible. From this evening ouwards the baths will be open between the liours of 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
