Annual Meeting oi Napier Club The annual meeting of the Napier Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club was held last night, thff chairman, Mr N. A. McKenzie, presiding over a good attendance of membens. Tho election of officers resulted: — Patrons Mr W. D. Corbett; president, Mr John Mason; vice-presidente, Messrs A. Annan, W. M. Angus, C. Cunningham, G. Husheer, T. Parker; committee, Messrs K. Armer, A. Clough, N. Blennerhasset, A. D. Lyncht N. A. McKenzie, C. Minett, E. Moseley, H. V. Phillips, P. Robson, C. White, E. A. Young; honorary secretavy and treaisurer, L. J. Sweeney; field secretary, A. C. Bird; club captain, A. C. Bird; coaches, A. D. Lynch, M. Fulford, I. Driscoll, W. J.* Fitzsimmons, R. Johnson, C. White, C. Sutton; delegatee to tJentre, N. A. McKenzie, A. D. Lynch and C. White. Messrs Fitzsimmons, Bird, and Bickerstaff were appointed' to go into the question of drawing up a special novel and attractive programme to he used for some of the club nights. It was decided to hold the firise club night on Thursday, November 18. Offieial training nights start on Monday next. It was unanimously decided to place on record the club 's appreciation of the servicea rendered over a number of years by Mr Fopter, a member of the .committee. who has retired. A letter to this effect is to be sent to Mr Foster. A vote of thauks to the chair terminated the proceedings.
