'WAIPUKUEAU, Last Night. St. Andrew's Hall, Waipukurau, was well filled on Wednesday ovening for the variety concerfc given by St. Andrew's Bible Class girls. The long and entertaining programme consisted of songs, choruses, musical monologuea, humorous rccitations and a short play, which was cleverly acted. The froeking was artistic and each itenx was well received. Those taking part werej Miss F. Malkin, who is to be complimented on her .skill as a producer and also as a performer^ Missea T. Gutschlag, M. and D. Gibson, M. Clark, B. Malkin, G. Wiggins, M. Smales, M. Urquhart, A. Warren, D. Moffatt, G. Coughlan, J. Faithful. Norma Wilson, C. Coughlan and John Malkin. Accompaniments were played by Miss Mavis King, who contribiited in no small measure to the success of the evening. During the evening Mr A. F. Cook apologised for the abSence -through indisposition of the Eev. Hutchieon and ispoke of the great amount of work that had obviously been .done by the girls.
