WAIPUKURAU THEATRE

"THE KING STEPS OUT," WITH GRACE MOORE, FRIDAY. "The KingSteps Out," which comes to the Waipukurau Theatre to-morrow (Friday) at 8 and on Saturday_at 2.30 and 8, is a glorious entertainment of song, romance, comedy, andl U4ama| each element dexteriously blended into tho other. Grace Moore, in her new surroundings, becomes a new personality, and delivers a performance which equals tho highC 's of her glorious voicel Franchot Tone plays opposite the lovejy diva. Together, they glide through a romance as tender and as thrilling as a beautiful dream. In appropnato places the director has cleverly added deft touches of comedy and drama. Music, of course, has its rightful place ia the film, it being the* work of the fanlous composer, Fritz Kreisler, and these beautiful compositions, as sung by the one and only Craco Moo?e, are truly enchauting. Tho story is a gay romanee of a king and a lovely maiden who fall in love, much to the surprise and annoyance of the family. Their -exploits thereafter are blended into a series of scenes which are, in turn delightfully amusipg, (ftnvipcingly dramatic, and thrillingly musical. Early reservations at Hawke's are advised. LAUEEL AND HARDY IN "OUR EELATIONS" Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy and their twin brothers, in their full length foaturo, "Our Relations," will be shown on Tuesday noxt.
