CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. Fat lambs, fat sheep and fat cattlo wOre in heavy supply at to-day 's A.ddington market due to next weekkl sale being a double one because of Carnival Week. Store sheep: Only a fow pens of swes B.nd lambs and medium hoggets wero forward, the demand being slow. Spring lambs: Too many were forward And there was a decline up to 3s per head, the average price being lOd *;p 10|d. Fat sheep: Neariy all the entry was shoi-n and it coihprised about 5250 head. There was a good sale throughout, with little change for wethers, shorn ewes being a sbado easier. Best Shorn wethers made to 37s 7d and shorn ewe3 to 32s lOd. The bulk of the good sheep sold as follows; Wethers, 31s to 33s; ewes, 25s to 29s. Fat cattle: 525 were penned, with a general easing of about 20s a head, heavy bodies being most affected. Best beef sold 'at from 38s to 40s and in special cases to 42s 6d, medium 34s to 37s, good steers from £13 to £10 10s good heifers from £10 10s to £14, good eows from £9 10s to £13 10s. Vealerg; The sale slacked by about 4s a- head. Store cattle: Some station lines were penned and thege sold well at up to £7 6s, eows to £4 12s 6d. Fat pigs: A sound sale. Forkers 41s 6d to £3 9s 6d, average price per lb. 7|d to, 8Jd| baconers, £3 9s 6d to £5 10s 6d, average price per lb, 7d to 8d. Store pigs: A small entry and keen sale. Weaners 20s to 25s, slips 27s to 09s, stores 30s to 35s,
