Election of Officers to' Auckland Council

AUCKLAND, This Day. The election Of permanent officers to the Auckland council of the Federation of Labour resulted last evening in the return o£ Messrs F. G. Young, Hotel and Restaurant Workers' Union, as president; W. J. Cuthbert, Auckland Waterside Workers' Union, as vicepresident, and H. Campbellf Paintqrs' Union, as seeretary. The following were eleeted to the diaputes board: Messrs Young, Cuthbert, Oampbell, T. Anderson (Seamen's Union), and T. Stanley (Labourere' Union). The counting of votes for the election of the executive is proceeding. All voting was by preference. There are 125 delegates xepresenting 44 nnions.
