Bowling Match With Heretaunga

WAITOA WA, Jhast -mgnu Perfect weather prevailed on Satur' day for the first full day's play on tha Waipawa Sports Club's grounds, all sections being well represented. The wliole of the tennis courts had been opened for play and were well patronised, and there were also a number of croquet players in attendance and an excellent muster of bowlers. The bowling club was also represented at the opening of the Heretaunga lub, at Hastings, by one rink. The following are the results of games played cn the local green: — Holt, August, McKay 22; Noell, Harker, Wallace 13. Harwood, Doolan, Chisholm 29; Waldrom, Kingston, Holt, 13. Hawke, Fletcher, Davy, Clark 2G; Hawke, Harwood, Barrie, Patterson 13.
