Presentation to H.B. Museum The gift to the Hawke's Bay Art Gallery and Museum of a model of the ( historie Popoia pa, made by the Te Karaka, Poverty Bay, Ranger tropp, was perforaied last evening by tke Guide Commissioner for tke district, Miss Herrick. Following tke presentation, an address was given by Dr. Wi Repa on tko kistory of tkis and otker pas. Tke gatkering was opened by the Bishop of Waiapu, tke Rt. Iiov. H. W. Williams. Miss Herrick briefly reviewed the kistory of tko model, and tke Guide, gatkering at the Adelaide centenary celebrations, where the model was exhibited. Dr. Wi Repa gave an interesting aecount of the kistory of the structure and otker pas in tke neighbourkood, togetker witk details of tke routine life of a Maori settlement.
