STRIKES MAY EXTEND
Australian Coal-Mines • (Eeceived 19, 10.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, Oct. 18. The Central Council of the Miners' Federation has given authority to the State executive to extend the strikes at the John Darling and Burwood colliories, which aro controlled by the Broken Hill Propriotary. Arraugements are bcing made to bring about a 1 united front. 7 ?
