Treatment of Victim skilful ministrations (Eeceivedi 16, 8.45 a.m.) WALTHAM (Massacixusetts), Oct. 14. O. Henry might have written the tale ot a gunman's midnight ministrations to his victim whiqh was xelated to the Court during the hearing of a eharge of armed robbery against Bobert Ulrich, aged 25. The prosecution said that a leading insurance man, named- Cronin, woke ■and groped at his hedside table for a medicine hottle. A voice from the darkness, ailegedly Ulrich's, oommand«d him to "stop right there.'' 1 Cronin replied: "I have got no gun. This drawer is filled witii medicine." The burglar asked: "What is the matter?" Cronin replied : "Heart sinus trouble." The burglar said: "You need massage of the nerve centre at the back of the nerve centre at the back of the neek, Let me show you." Thereupon the intruder ' skilfully messaged Cronin's neck. Cronin toid the police he felt so muoh better that he .did not hegrudge the few dollara stolen.
