Store Sheep Sale at : Stortford Lodge Only a modea'ate entry of approximately -3500 store sheep came forward in this section at to-day's stock Bale at Stortford Lodge, ■ Bidding was good, particularly on koggets in the jvool, and good saies wel'e effected at prices on a parity with recent saies, A draft of 136 woolly wether hoggets fairly grown and quite well woolled, carrying a fair infestation of burr,- a healthy line in fresh store order, met the market at 29/-. A draft of 159 woolly wether hoggets, not quite so well grown as the previous pen, -passed at 27/9. A line of 222 shorn two-tootk wethers, medium framed, with severa! small sheep included, in fresh condition, met tbe market at 22/2. A pen of 98 woolly wether hoggets, quite well grown and carrying a good weigkt of wool, in quite good order, realised 30/10. A Haumoana entry, 96 woolly wether hoggets, not quite so well grown as the previous pen, but a useful line of fairly woolled, fresh conditioned young sheep, made 28/9. A further pen of Haumoana hoggets, 73 small to medium framed young sbeep, sold out at 25/6. A pen of 44 woolly ewe hoggets, small framed, and ligbt, fairly woolled, met the market at 36/7. Sixty-four Southdown ewe hoggets, medium grown nuggetty yoftijjj sheep, started at 26/- to sell out at 29/1. In from Twyford and on account of Mr. R. Griffiths, a line "of 101 woolly wether hoggets, well grown and woolled, a good draft of sheep that shoulcl come off the shears in good order, met with keen competition to sell out at 34/-.
