Works Authorised

Arising out of the report submitted by the engineer at the monthly meeting of tlie Waipawa Oounty Council the following works were authorised:— Waipawa Riding. — Post and rails to be painted white near Moore' s on the College road. The engineer tendered a report in respect of Mathews Park, Tikokino. Onga Riding. — Bad potholes to be filled in on Taylor's road. One new plank to be installed in Douglas's bridge. Clinton Riding: — Attention to Church road, also to blocked culvert. The matter of work on Cook's road was held over to enable a conference with the Public Works J)epartment. In connection with an application by Mr O. Wedd to have a drain dgepened the writer is to be advised to get in touch with the Public Works Department, as tbe road is now a State Highway. Tho engineer is to report on the county houses for the next meeting.
