Schools' Committee Meets

WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. A meeting of the schools section of the Waipukurau A. and P. Association was held yesterday, there being present Messrs V. Parsons (cjiairman), Marshall and the secretary, G. Reg. Cook. Apologies were received from Messrs J. McCarthy and W. J. Phillips. The followmg judges were appointed: Writing and drawing, Mr J. (Jaughleyj needle work, Mrs A. Chisholm; woodvvork, Mrs J. Ledgerwood; chief steward, Mr W. J. Phillips; assistant stewards, to be appointed by Mr Phillips rrom lligh School pupils. A lengthy discussion ensued in connection with a suitable place to exhibit school work on Show jDay when it was linally agreed to consider the matter agaiu when the ground committee meets in January next.
