"THE PRINCESS COMES AGROSS" TO-NlGHT. Fred MaoMurray and Carole Lombard, who moved to the top of the list of screen sweethearts with the release of "Hands AcrosS the Table" are reunited for the first time in Paramoxmt 's "The Princess Oomes Across," whicb will be shown at the Waipukurau Theatre to-night (Tuesday) at 8. Miss Lombard is cast as a lovely American gitl posing a>a a Swedish princess in order to obtain a film contract. Aboard a trans-Atlantic liner, the sceoe of all the actiorl she meets and falls in love with an aceordion player, MaeMurray, leader of a band. Two murders and their solution, with five internatidnal detectives enlisted in the sleuthing, provide suspense and thril Is as a background for the high eeas romance. The supporting programme includes a pictOrial, Sportlight, and a "Popeye the Sailor" cartoon, "Theodofa Goes Wild." IrOne Duane, in the brilliantlv written, superbly acted and delightfully directed production entitled "Theodora Goes Wild," will be presented on Friday and Saturday nest.
